Originally for Clinton, SC Stevie Mac
traveled from Nashville, TN to Myrtle Beach, SC on his musical journey.
Finally in 2005, he would form the band, EASON, a Myrtle Beach based Pop
Variety band. An accomplished singer/songwriter/guitarist, Stevie Mac adds
soul, energy and catch songwriting to ad to an already amazing
trio. On bass and synth, Karl Gunther is the groove force of the band
known for playing two guitars at the same time. He’s able to expand
the sound of the rhythm section by mixing electric bass with guitar synth.
Karl is from Columbus, Ohio where he earned a bachelor’s degree in
music from Ohio Stage University. Seeing Karl is worth the price of
admission alone. On drums, from Columbia, SC is Russ Whitman.
Russ began playing drums at the early age of 7 and later received numberouse
awards and honors, state and national. Russ has opend and/or
played with several national recording artists over his career. There is
do doubt that Russ is the backbone of Eason. On guitar and vocals, hailing
from Wytheville, VA is Travis Newman. Travis has toured with national
acts and opened for multiple recording artists. You have to see Travis
to believe his ability. His guitar playing is melodice and graceful.
Travis is the musical stimulate and mistro of Eason. Experience Eason and
you will enjoy one fun memorable night full of great music with infectious
grooves, a satisfying combination that is fresh yet somehow comforting &
familiar.
